Good beer. Very cool old wood trimmed bar. Original ice box for cans and bottles. Worth a stop.

Great little neighborhood dive with a cozy enough atmosphere that you can go in alone and make new friends. The bartenders are great and very knowledgeable about beer recommendations.

Fantastic beer selection, craft beers from all over the world. Their own brews are great and they have a revolving selection of drafts from other brewery's. But, if cocktails are your thing, they have you covered!

Dive bar with some of the best taps in Chicagoland. I make sure to hang out here whenever in town. The beer made in house has improved tremendously. Amazing staff that have always been nothing but awesome to me and my friends when we visit.Come have eaten though, as this is a bar, so the food selection is meh.Villa Park deserves a place like this!

Love their brews (especially their porters and stouts) and the bar has a great intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Great for hanging out or having a good conversation. Price is a little higher for the local stuff but man, it's worth it.

Lunar is way more of an off the beaten path kind of place. It's more of a bar that happens to also brew beer (fully stocked bar, guest taps, and even Bud- bottle only). It's definitely a community business with a strong contingent locals and regulars. Taking my see at the bar, I was definitely an outsider. Service was friendly enough, but they were definitely more content hanging out at the end of the bar chatting with regulars. As much as I felt like I was an intruder, I really like what they've got going. They're a community brewery. Expansion isn't really their goal. Being the local watering hole is their thing and it's cool. There are 3 dart boards around the place and I spent a drink throwing. They've got basic pub fair available, as well as a rotating selection of bombers for purchase (not their own). One thing to note is that they don't do flights, so pace yourself or choose wisely.

Always a stellar beer selection. House taps are generally above average but rarely amazing. Guest taps and packages are among the best in the suburbs. A little divey, in the best way. Clientele can be a little cliq-y, staff is generally friendly and helpful. BYO food, or toaster oven pizza.

I love the entire layout of Lunar. Bars that combine a spacious area with intimacy are a rarity these days. Architecturally, the space was well thought, but if I had to be honest, AYYYYYYYYYYYY OSKIE AND MARIE. Wish they had more Chinese beers

great classic bar feel, no ego about their beer (great selection of house beers and better selection of other craft beers, full bar). Stopped here while my wife was shopping in Oak Brook. Would definitely come back.

Bartenders are like use to there regulars. Feel like I had to pull the Bartenders teeth for him for serve me. It seems he served other people before me and I was standing there waiting.

Great laid back atmosphere. Their own beers are fantastic and they feature several guest beers too.

Several beers on tap, huge guest selection from other breweries. The blueberry wit and imperial moondande IPA(made by Lunar) were tasty. The can of pineapple cider was refreshing! Staff was very friendly. Old dive bar feel with darts. Highly recommend!!

Great beer with a rotating selection. The bar itself is nothing fancy with some even calling it a bit of a dive but this is my kind of place. Friendly and usually lively with patrons. It can get loud when it is really busy. Bartenders are nice and know their beer. They do growler fills too which is great so you can take some home to enjoy the next day.

Really great beer selection! They have a lot of their own brews as well as a large selection of guest beers. Bring your wallet and call a cab because they have too many beers to try and you're not gonna want to drive home

People were very friendly! The beer was good: the Russian Imperial stout was robust and roasty.

If you are into craft beer this is the place for you. Definitely has a locals bar feel. If you want trendy this place isn't for you.

Awesome service n beer

Selection alone is astounding. This is the spot if you're looking for a laid back, frequented by locals, dive bar feel. Not the friendliest to new faces but very knowledgeable.

Had the Lunar Oktoberfest beer at the Oak Park micro brew festival last weekend. One of the first I tried, and without a doubt the best beer I had all day. And I had a few.

Great bar! Always a huge selection of beers. Rediscovered this place after a few years away, still a great place to grab a few brews.

Carl, Chuck, Jeff, Paul, Chuck, Mark, are all studs that know their beer! It is a good place to come have a drink and enjoy good company! They have some live music sometimes along with darts and Malort. I recommend this place, but enjoy the bar because it's a whole in the wall.

Really enjoyed the beer and plan to return. Friendly people, both staff and clientele. Small list of their beers & lots of guest beers. But drink their beers, while the list is short (about 7 or 8), the quality is terrific.

LBC has an out of this world dive vibe complete with a circa 1990s CD jukebox chock full of righteous records. The building itself has old bones with interesting stories to tell while sipping your moon juice. Their house brewed beers ain't bad either but they do have a wide selection of crafts as well. Count me in as a member of the moon patrol.

Classy neighborhood craft beer bar that also offers Malort as a staple to all patrons.

This place is my favorite. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The crew is very affectionate and the cooking they place on your table is so flavorful. I would always prefer to have a nice dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

A great local brewery meets townie bar. Lunar has been around before the craft beer boom and has stayed authentic since day 1 and never tried to commercialize its beer or bar experience. I have always had some of the best conversations with friends and family here.

I come here to write in the evenings while my kid is at the rink. The beer selection satisfies - I can even get a terrific amber in February. A great hang out for locals. I've never felt unwelcome even though I keep to myself. The soundtrack is perfect for this place.

This is a pretty cool divey bar to hang out in. It's dimly lit, decorated with strings of lights and tons of signs on the walls. They have a great beer selection from all over the country and the world. There are tons of beer to choose from on their menu. There is also a good selection on tap. The bartenders are usually very friendly and helpful.

I love Lunar! It's got a chill vibe but the beer selection is top notch. It's BYOF or get their frozen pizza (it's not awful).

Great spot! Some think it's a corner Tavern but it's really a Goldmine for craft beer. I had their Moondance IPA it was awesome!
